AI to drive 15x influencer marketing growth within a decade according to research

A recent surge in influencer marketing enquiries during Q3 2025 has been reinforced by a new global study forecasting explosive growth for the sector over the next decade.

The Influencer Marketing Platform Market: Growth and Trends report predicts the global influencer marketing platform market will expand 15 fold, from USD16.79 billion in 2025 to USD272.43 billion by 2035.

The findings highlight the increasing sophistication of influencer ecosystems, with AI-powered analytics, automation and precision targeting transforming how brands connect with audiences.

“At IHC, we’re seeing this shift firsthand,” said Ian Hainey, CEO of Integrated Holistic Communications (IHC).

“Campaigns are no longer about one-off collaborations or vanity metrics. Instead, they’re about precision – matching the right creator to the right message, on the right platform, at the right time.

“AI and machine learning are enabling smarter influencer discovery, deeper audience insights and measurable ROI -exactly what CMOs and CEOs have been demanding for years.”

The report outlines how influencer marketing has matured into a diverse, multi-layered ecosystem encompassing influencer tiers from macro and mega tomicro and nano, platform models ranging from full-service and niche to self-service, deployment types including cloud, hybrid and on-premise, as well as marketing formats across blogs, social media, video and multi-channel integrations, with pricingmodels evolving from pay-per-post to subscription-based systems.

Hainey added the trend is no longer confined to consumer brands: “Whether you’re in aviation, logistics, hospitality, real estate or even B2B industrial sectors, the question is no longer if influencer marketing fits your strategy – it’s how to use it intelligently,” he said.

“As influencer ecosystems become more sophisticated, brands that fail to integrate influencer marketing into their wider communications strategy risk being left behind.”

According to IHC, influencer marketing can build authentic connections with niche audiences, drive conversions and lead generation, enhance employer branding and amplify PR and paid media results through credible, creator-led storytelling.

“Our influencer marketing practice helps brands identify and vet the most effective creators, design influencer-led content strategies aligned with business objectives and integrate influencer marketing with PR, paid media and performance marketing,” Hainey explained.

“We combine data-driven decision-making with creative storytelling and clear KPI and ROI tracking, giving brands measurable value from every campaign.”
